The sun is bright, shining, a few puffy clouds scattered across the sea blue sky, much like the islands are spread throughout the Great Sea. On the tiny island of Outset rests a small fishing village.

(Camera zooms to a close up of Link's house, outside/front porch) Aryll, with her blonde, pigtail hair wearing a light blue dress with flowers, steps into the sunlight and peeks through her red telescope.

She calls for her brother, "Hoiii, big brother!!"

(Camera pans to Aryll's lookout, Link is sprawled out, napping)

She finds him asleep on her lookout. Link wakes, stretches his arms, and is slightly startled when his sister greets him; he turns to face her.

"'Hoy big brother! I figured you'd be up here sleeping," she says.

Link scratches the back of his head sheepishly, then yawns.

"Don't you remember what day it is?" Aryll giggles, "big brother, it's your birthday!"

(Camera turns and looks behind Aryll, their house in focus)

"Grandma's waiting for you back at the house, she's been waiting for some time now. You should go see her, I think she has something for you!"

Aryll beams one last time at her brother before returning her gaze to the gulls surrounding the lookout. Link climbs down and jogs to his house, passing by hard working villagers who wish him happy birthday.

"Link, I'm glad you're here," his grandmother said sweetly as he reached the second floor of their cozy home.

"I have something very special for you. Here, try these on dear," Link quickly changed into the green 'Heroes Clothes' and shifted uncomfortably.

"Why the long face? They're a perfect fit," his grandma then told him the legend of the Hero of Time. "Oh my," she said as the sun started to set, "look at the time. Link, be a dear and fetch your sister; I'm making your favorite soup tonight, Mmmm~"

Link nodded with a big grin and headed back to Aryll's lookout. The seagulls flew off as Link climbed the ladder and reached the platform. Aryll turned towards Link and held here telescope behind her back.

"Did Grandma give you those clothes?" Aryll looked concerned, "they look a little warm for this weather..."

"Anyway big brother, can you close your eyes? I have a surprise for you."

Link shut his eyes and held out his hands, "Happy Birthday!" Aryll placed her treasured telescope in his hands.

(insert 'got item' music here) (You got Aryll's Telescope! This is your sister's most prized possession, she's kind enough to lend it to you. Take good care of it)

Link smiled politely at his sister and nodded his thanks.

"This is my most precious telescope. I'm giving it to you because your my big brother~" She sang, then pointed towards the mailbox by their house.

"Look through it and see if the Rito postman's here!"

Link played around with the telescope, making a game out of pointing it at random objects until Aryll shouted, "big brother, over there! Look, out in the sea, it's a pirate ship!"

Through the telescope, he zoomed in and sure enough, there was a pirate themed ship, with pirates, and a catapult, with a girl stuck inside a brown barrel, ready to be launched. Even from a distance, they could hear yelling, and then the blonde girl in the barrel was launched into the air, and landed in the forest on the summit of their small village mountain.

Aryll panicked, "big brother, what should we do?" She paused for a moment then said, " your wooden sword, Uncle Orca has it! Go get it from him and we can save that poor girl! I'll catch up later." Aryll descended the lookout and ran back to their house. Link soon followed, but instead rushed into their Uncle's house and shut the door behind him.

"Link, your sword is painted and polished, the paint is also dry now," Orca paused, "you look worried; do you need your sword?" Link nodded urgently. "Here you go then, careful of those monsters. And let your sister use the sword every now and then." The old man chuckled, and returned to tackling his wall.

Link hurried out the door and followed the path up the mountain, ignoring the small wooden sign that read "The bridge to the Fairy Fountain needs repair. DO NOT CROSS." Link nearly fell through the missing plank on the bridge, but regained his fotting and hopped across. Link fought and slayed the monsters with playful bravery. The blonde "pirate" girl eased her eyes open, yelped, and struggled to get down from the tree branch she was hanging from. The branch broke with a snap and she fell, "owww," and peered around, then noticed Link.

"Wow, what's with the get-up? Is it an island custom or something?" She jerked her head towards the entrance and only exit, as if being called. "It's MISS Tetra to you. Where am I?" Link cocked his head curiously, she didn't seem to be talking to him. "A summit? Those idiots flung me on top of a mountain?!" Tetra jogged through the entrance/exit, "C'mon, don't worry about him. Time to repay the debt to the rest of the crew!"

Link trotted after her, and walked into the harsh sunlight. "Heey!" Aryll laughed and waved from the other side of the bridge, and Link's mind flashed back to the missing plank, the gap in the bridge, and the weak ropes. Link charged forward, and the bridges ropes holding it up snapped. Just before he reached the bridge to jump after his sister, Tetra grabbed him, and Aryll plummeted down towards the rocks and crashing waves. Tetra and Link stared, both too stunned to speak or move. Worried screaming and cries echoed from the tiny village and island of Outset, but Link heard nothing but the angry waves hitting the steady rocks...
The idea of this creepypasta is this; it's a more "realistic look at the events and characters of Wind Waker~

The "monsters" have a faint glow to them, an indication that they are the product of Link's imagination. ^^
